Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. On Saturday, March 17th, the river will turn green in honor of the holiday. Enjoy live music by Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, with Chatham County Line as the headlining act. Win prizes in the Powerball Race ($2 to enter.) This event is free, but there is a parking charge. If you want to go rafting, you’ll have to purchase a pass.
Interested in a good price on a used mountain bike? Come early, because a used bike sale starts at 9am.
The schedule:
1pm: The river turns green
3pm: Powerball race
Music throughout the afternoon, with Chatham County Line starting at 3:30pm
