Two winter hikes in Reedy Creek Nature Preserve 2/12/12

Reedy Creek Nature Preserve is a beautiful place for a hike in every season. Reedy Creek Nature Center is offering two guided hikes on Sunday, February 12th, 2012.

Winter Tree ID: 1:30pm to 2:30pm
When leaves fall, can you tell one tree in the forest from another? Learn to identify trees in winter from twigs and buds on a hike through the preserve.

Winter Walk in the Woods: 3pm to 4pm
Take a walk with a naturalist through the Reedy Creek Nature Preserve. There is a lot to see in the winter in the woods. Be prepared to walk 2 to 3 miles on uneven trails. No strollers please.
