Free: Midsummer Night’s Dream from Matthews Playhouse 2/16/12 & 2/17/12
Matthews Playhouse presents two free performances of Midsummer Night’s Dream on February 16th and 17th, both at 8pm. The performances are at Matthews Community Center, 100 McDowell Street in Matthews. For more information, give them a call at 704-846-8343.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is centered around the adventures of four young lovers and a group of amateur actors, who are manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest. What happens when a group of teens decide to make a YouTube video of this Shakespearean classic? Come join the fun as our year long acting company presents the Bard’s tale set in today’s electronic age.
