Matthews Playhouse presents two free performances of Midsummer Night’s Dream on February 16th and 17th, both at 8pm. The performances are at Matthews Community Center, 100 McDowell Street in Matthews.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is centered around the adventures of four young lovers and a group of amateur actors, who are manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest. What happens when a group of teens decide to make a YouTube video of this Shakespearean classic? Come join the fun as our year long acting company presents the Bard’s tale set in today’s electronic age.
