Free college day at South Piedmont Community College 2/18/12
South Piedmont Community College, in Monroe, is offering free classes and workshops on Saturday, February 18th, 2012, from 9am to 3pm, to anyone age 13 or older.
There are many classes to choose from. See the class list and register online.
The classes are varied and look like lots of fun, ranging from the practical (using Computer Numerical Control for machining) to whimsical (Cartoon Caricatures in Photoshop.) Many have a self-help focus (Overcoming Stage Fright) and others introduce practical life skills (Babysitting 101.)
