Artist Associate at Davidson and principal cellist for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Alan Black, will perform a rich program including Max Reger’s Solo Cello Suite in D Minor and Chopin’s Cello Sonata in G Minor, one of Chopin’s last major works. Black will be accompanied by pianist Dana Protopopescu. 3:00pm in Tyler-Tallman Hall.
