2012 Block Kids Event 2/18/12
National Association of Women in Construction is holding a building competition for kids on the 3rd floor of Discovery Place on Saturday, February 18th, starting at 12:30pm. The 2012 Block Kids Event challenges kids in grades 1 through 6 to build something with 100 inter-locking bricks, a piece of string, and aluminum foil. Register in advance through the above link. First, second, and third place winners will receive prices. All participants will be given surprises. Read the rules and register.
It’s free to enter. If you want to explore Discovery Place afterwards you will have to pay for admission, though.
