Peaceful Dragon’s Chinese New Year Celebration 1/21/12

The Peaceful Dragon is hosting its annual Chinese New Year’s Festival on Saturday, January 21st, 2012, from 11am to 2pm. Admission is $3 per family, or free with a donation of a non-perishable food item for Loaves and Fishes charity.

Activities at this family-friendly festival include the ceremonial Lion Dance adn Dragon Dance, demonstrations of Chinese martial arts, and traditional Chinese dance and music. Also learn about feng shui, calligraphy, acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Kids’ activities include an obstacle course, face painting, and arts & crafts. Free mini-classes in tai chi and kung fu will be offered. Those who sign up for ongoing classes will receive a discount that day.
