Groundhog Day at Charlotte Nature Museum 2/2/12
On Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, Charlotte’s resident groundhog, Queen Charlotte, will predict if we’ll have six more weeks of winter. (Six more weeks? Has winter started?) She will make her determination at Charlotte Nature Museum’s annual Groundhog Day Celebration from 3pm to 5pm. The official “shadow check” will take place at 4pm. There will also be groundhog stories to enjoy.
These activities are included in the normal price of admission, which is $6 per person. The museum is at 1658 Sterling Road. It backs up to Freedom Park, so make an outing of it with your kids.
