Free: Exhibition of Scott Avett’s paintings 2/25/12
Most of us are used to seeing Scott Avett, one of the founding members of The Avett Brothers, with a banjo in his hands, but he’s also an accomplished visual artist, focusing on painting and print-making.
The public is invited to a free gallery show of Scott Avett’s paintings on Saturday, February 25th, 2012, at The Morrison condominiums, located at 532 Governor Morrison Street in Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood. The exhibition, “The Paintings of Scott Avett: Exploring Story and Spirituality,” will be shown from 10am until 4pm. There will be opportunities to purchase original artwork, but if they are out of your price range, know that there will also be commemorative posters for sale.
