The next two Saturdays, September 17th, 2011, and September 24th, 2011, kids can get their immunizations for free, in a program called Big Shot Saturdays, organized by Junior League of Charlotte. Both programs will run from 10am to 2pm.
September 17th: Phillip O. Barry Academy of Technology, 1430 Alleghany Street
September 24th: Mecklenburg County Health Department, 2845 Beatties Ford Road
At the September 17th event, there will also be a free health festival called Kids HealthLink, open to the public. It will feature vision, hearing and dental assessments, education topics for children, entertainment and giveaways.
