FREE: Girl Power event at Energy Explorium 9/10/11

Girl Power, sponsored by Energy Explorium, at 13339 Hagers Ferry Road in Huntersville, is a free event for girls in grades 6 through 12th. Taking place on Saturday, September 10th, from 10am to 2pm, it will give girls a chance to explore different career paths with industry experts. It’s free. Girls bring their own lunches and are provided with snacks. Register online by September 2nd, 2011.

Girls will get to attend three of these classes:

* Wellness- Being Healthy Starts at An Early Age
* Alcohol and Substance Abuse Awareness
* Engineering (High School Girls Only)
* Public Relations/Communications
* Chemistry
* Broadcasting/Journalism
* Veterinarian
* Teacher
* Lawyer
