You might think that my favorite thing in the world is a bargain. But you’d be wrong. My favorite thing is an Avett Brothers concert. Finally after a long, long wait, The Avett Brothers are playing in Charlotte, April 9th, at Bojangles Coliseum. There are still plenty of $25 tickets left for the show.

The Avett Brothers have arranged for some local bargains (see, I had to get back to the bargains) to coincide with the show. I love that they’re looking out for their fans and supporting local businesses. Here are the deals:

Rat’s Nest vintage store (442 E. 36th Street) will give a bottle of Cheerwine to anyone who comes to the store April 9th starting at noon. All Avett Brothers fans will receive 25% off anything in the store that day too.

The Avett Brothers’ amazing cello player, Joe Kwon, is a foodie who writes a food blog called Taste on Tour. He’s designed two sandwiches for Laurel Market (114 Cherokee Rd.) available March 1st through April 9th. Anyone who purchases one of those sandwiches is entered to win two tickets to the show.

Bring a ticket stub or receipt from the show to Pinky’s Westside Grill (1600 W. Morehead St.) April 8th, 9th or 10th and get a free small order of fried pickles.

Bring your ticket stub or receipt to NASCAR Hall of Fame any time after the show in April and get 25% off admission.
